The fastest way to level in WARDOGS Season 2 is to spread your XP across all six classes before you go deep on one. Your WARDOG level is the six class levels added together, and the first levels on every track are the cheapest you'll ever buy.

Players report a full level and cash reset when Season 2 went live on 15 October; BULKHEAD's notes don't mention one. Either way, the first nights are where the cheap levels are.

Why six shallow classes beat one deep one

There's no class select in WARDOGS. Every weapon, tool and vehicle feeds exactly one of six tracks: Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot. Your WARDOG level, which gates armour and helmets (and, in Season 1, backpacks), is simply those six added up.

The curve does the rest. Taking all six classes to 10 costs 150,000 XP, less than half of one class to 30, and it gives you sixty WARDOG levels instead of thirty.

The fastest XP for each class

These are the loops that hold up on Season 2's numbers. Several rewards moved tracks this season, so a few of them are new.

Spot the big targets

Spotting pays about 30% less than in Season 1, but it now scales with what you find. Mark armed vehicles and big builds first.

Follow a squad that dies

Stay behind aggressive teammates in the zone. Bandages and revives come constantly, and the free PP-19 Bizon feeds the track too.

A squad with heavy packs wades a river towards a tower base
Support

Run supplies to the FOB

Build supplies early, ammo once the FOB is up. Sales to the same buyer now pay less each time, so supply the whole team, not one friend.

Pilot

Fly pallet runs

A supply pallet pays 400 XP (500 by truck), and at launch each pallet in a row added another 100 XP, up to 10. BULKHEAD changed Driver progression on 15 October after an exploit, so streaks may now pay less.

A Humvee jumps a ridge over infantry advancing on a dirt slope
Driver

Taxi full vehicles

Fill the seats and drop squads in the zone, not short of it. Every player in a row and every return trip now adds a streak bonus.

A soldier fires a rocket launcher at an armoured truck as a building explodes behind it
Assault

Break enemy builds

Destroying buildables and using C4 now pay Assault XP, not Support. Take the free AK74 to the zone and hit their FOB.

Each class has its own full guide: Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot.

Your first night in Season 2

  1. Play while everyone's fresh. If the reset players report is real for you too, the first nights are the most even fights you'll get all season.
  2. Run a two-track loadout from the first life. Binoculars plus a Field Resuscitator, or a scoped rifle plus a Field Resuscitator. The defibrillator is a Medic 22 unlock now, so don't plan around it.
  3. Stay cheap. Free and starter gear feeds every track just as well, and a cheap death keeps your cash for unlocks.
  4. Rotate classes once a track slows. Move on when the next level starts taking noticeably longer than the last one did.
  5. Save the big spends. Tanks and armed helicopters level fast but cost a fortune to lose. Bring them out once losing one wouldn't hurt.

Rather farm it in bulk? On our Private XP/Cash Farming Server, an operator guides you through the farm on your own account, for up to 200K XP and 1M cash an hour.

What carries over and what doesn't

  • Gold Market unlocks: carry over. BULKHEAD co-founder Howard Philpott said on X that they "persist across seasons". The Gold Market itself now unlocks at WARDOG level 35.
  • Unlock levels: moved with the new item order. Our Season 2 patch notes explainer lists where every new gun and vehicle unlocks.

Rather skip the climb? Class XP Boost levels the class you need for you, from 10K XP up to a whole class, or you can play along with our operator instead. Questions first? The FAQ on our WARDOGS page covers how it works.

FAQ

Does WARDOGS Season 2 reset your level?

Players say yes: class levels, WARDOG level and cash were gone when Season 2 went live on 15 October. BULKHEAD's patch notes don't mention a reset, so we're going on player reports.

What's the fastest class to level in WARDOGS?

No single class is fastest on its own. Season 2 brought class level 20 down from 250,000 XP to 111,500 on every track, and pallet runs reward return trips: 400 XP per pallet (500 by truck), plus a streak bonus for each pallet in a row that BULKHEAD trimmed on 15 October after an exploit. For your overall WARDOG level, spreading XP across all six classes is faster than pushing any one of them.

How many class levels do you need for tier 3 armour in Season 2?

70 WARDOG levels, up from 60. WARDOG level is your six class levels added together, so six classes at level 12 gets you there sooner than one class at 50, and costs a fraction of the XP.
