WARDOGS Season 2 adds four weapons, a Molotov, four vehicles and three buildables when it launches on 15 October. BULKHEAD named them all in its Road to Season 2 post on 9 October: the TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon and Evo-3 Ultra, plus the T-72 and the Flakpanzer Gepard.

Unlock levels and prices aren't out yet. BULKHEAD says the full patch notes land early next week. Until then, here's what each item is and which class track it's likely to sit on, going by where Season 1 put the same kind of gear.

The four new weapons

Each comes with new attachments, BULKHEAD says. The track on each card is where the same kind of weapon sat in Season 1.

A tan suppressed TCX Spear assault rifle held in first person beside a vendor stall in the rain
Likely Assault

TCX Spear

A new assault rifle. Every Season 1 assault rifle, from the AK74 to the FAL, sat on the Assault track.

A wood-stocked M14 held in first person in the rain as flares burn over a village
Likely Recon

M14

A new DMR. Season 1's marksman rifles, the SKS and SVD, were both Recon unlocks.

A black PP-19 Bizon held up in first person beside a vendor stall in the rain
Likely Medic

PP-19 Bizon

A new SMG. SMGs fed the Medic track in Season 1, with the MP5 unlocking at Medic 15.

A tan belt-fed Evo-3 Ultra machine gun held in first person beside a vendor stall
Likely Support

Evo-3 Ultra

A new belt-fed LMG. LMGs were Support gear in Season 1, with the M249 SAW at Support 15.

The Molotov

The Molotov is a thrown incendiary that splashes fire on impact and damages anyone caught in it. You can throw it overarm or underarm, and BULKHEAD pitches it at damage and area denial.

Its track is a coin flip for now. Season 1's frag grenades fed Assault, while explosives sat on Support.

Four new vehicles

  • Wolf-110: a fast, light wheeled transport.
  • Wolf-110 (Assault): the same truck with a ring-mounted M2 Browning.
  • T-72: a main battle tank. BULKHEAD says it's slower than the Leopard, but cheaper and far more fuel-efficient.
  • Flakpanzer Gepard: an anti-air vehicle, built for shooting down helicopters.

Every ground vehicle in Season 1 sat on the Driver track. Its only tank, the L2A6 Leopard, was a Driver 35 unlock, so a cheaper T-72 could be the first tank most players can afford to lose.

Three new buildables

  • MG Nest: a manned M2 Browning emplacement.
  • Large Shelter: a big metal roof for covering key assets, or keeping the rain off.
  • Wooden Step: BULKHEAD describes it as "A step. Made of wood."

Building fed Support in Season 1, so expect these on the Support track too.

Rain, Lonestar and the Wager Vendor

The gear isn't the only change. Three other Season 2 additions affect how a match plays:

  • Rain: a new weather preset that changes visibility, engagement ranges and sound. Thunder is synced across the server and can briefly mask footsteps.
  • Lonestar bonuses: the blue faction got cash and XP win bonuses and multipliers at launch. BULKHEAD removed the cash and XP bonus on 15 October, a day after launch, saying it "got a few things wrong". Any team 40 or more points behind second place still gets 20% off at the vendor.
  • The Wager Vendor: bet your own cash on objectives you pick, such as kills in the hot zone. BULKHEAD calls it experimental and may pull it mid-season.

Which classes to level for the new gear

If the Season 1 pattern holds, here's where each new item lands:

  • Assault: TCX Spear
  • Recon: M14
  • Medic: PP-19 Bizon
  • Support: Evo-3 Ultra and the three buildables
  • Driver: Wolf-110, Wolf-110 (Assault), T-72 and Gepard

Rather skip the climb? The new guns and vehicles unlock at class levels, and Class XP Boost levels the class you need for you. Questions first? The FAQ on our WARDOGS page covers how it works.
