You make Kinah in Aion 2 from quests and dungeons while you level, then from selling drops, materials and crafts on your server's Auction House (the Market in-game) once you're at the cap. NC's paid Membership unlocks the Auction House, and NC says you need an active one to trade there.

The in-game name is Kina (Kinah in the original Aion, and on most shops). NC hasn't published Kinah payouts for the global servers yet. Where this guide mentions numbers or limits, they come from the Korean and Taiwanese versions and may change here.

Where Kinah comes from

  • Quests: main story, side quests and the daily and weekly duty quests all pay some. Duty quests are the steady base, and they pay more once you reach 45.
  • Dungeons: expedition dungeons and the reward cubes you open with Odyle Energy pay Kinah plus drops you can sell.
  • Field drops: monsters drop a little Kinah and more in materials. The materials are often worth more than the coin.
  • Gathering and crafting: slow to start, but gathered and crafted materials are what other players buy.
  • The Auction House: selling drops, materials and crafts to other players is where most Kinah changes hands at endgame.

Kinah while levelling: don't chase it

While you level, Kinah comes to you. Follow the main story, clear side quests and sealed dungeons in each zone, and sell what you don't use.

The best early saving is not spending. Enhancing costs Kinah you never get back, so enhance your weapon and leave the rest. Our levelling guide covers the route.

Kinah farming at 45: a daily routine

  • Clear your duty quests every day and week. They're the steadiest income that doesn't depend on the market.
  • Spend your Odyle Energy on dungeon reward cubes. It's what turns a dungeon clear into a payout.
  • Pick one gathering or crafting line and stick with it. Materials keep selling as more players reach the cap.
  • Sell drops you won't use on your server's Auction House, not to a vendor.

Daily cap, bound Kinah and fees

  • Daily cap: in Korea, open-world Kinah is capped at 1,000,000 a day per character, and field drops stop once you hit it. NC hasn't confirmed the same cap for global.
  • Bound Kinah: in Korea some rewards pay Kinah that can't be traded or moved between characters. Check before you plan on shifting it to a main.
  • Auction House fees: listings cost a fee and sales are taxed. Korean guides put the cross-server World Market tax at 20%, and that market isn't open on global servers yet. The server market is reported lower.

Membership, Quna and the official exchange

NC's Membership unlocks the Auction House and the official Kina and Quna exchange. Without it you can still earn Kinah, but NC says an active Membership is required to trade on the Market.

Quna is the premium currency you buy with real money. Through the exchange, members can swap it for Kinah, which makes it NC's own way to buy Kinah. In Korea the rate moves with supply and demand; NC hasn't published how it works here.

Where we fit

Farming is time, and early-launch prices on a new server are high. If you'd rather skip it, we deliver Kinah on your server through its own Auction House, so you'll need Membership either way.

Buying Kinah from a third party breaks NC's Operation Policy, and the official exchange doesn't. Read the FAQ on our Aion 2 page before you choose.

One more question

Can I move Kinah to another server? No. Kinah stays on the server you earn it on. NC plans a cross-server market later, once servers reach a similar stage.
