WARDOGS gates its gear twice. First you reach a level - on a class track, or on your Wardog level, which is the six class levels added together. Reaching it only reveals the tile in the vendor. Then you pay a one-off unlock fee, and only after that can you buy the item at its normal per-life price. This page is every one of those gates: the level that opens it, what it opens, and what it costs to open. 225 unlocks, $10,065,000 in total.
The figures are the Closed Beta 02 catalogue as recorded by the community, with the launch changes BULKHEAD documented for Season 1 applied on top - each of those rows says what it was before. BULKHEAD has said item order and the XP curve can change per season, and the community is still re-cataloguing the launch build, so treat any row without a Season 1 note as "as of the last beta" rather than gospel. Checked 12 September 2026; we'll update as the catalogue settles. Every change is in our Season 1 changelog explainer.
How much it costs to unlock everything
- Career (Wardog level): 58 unlocks to level 150, $2,787,500
- Assault: 33 unlocks to level 50, $965,000
- Medic: 36 unlocks to level 50, $1,040,000
- Recon: 49 unlocks to level 50, $1,972,500
- Support: 31 unlocks to level 50, $1,240,000
- Driver: 11 unlocks to level 35, $1,165,000
- Pilot: 7 unlocks to level 35, $895,000
- Everything: 225 unlocks, $10,065,000 - on top of the levels themselves.
A price covers its whole level row, so where two items share a level (a rifle and its magazine, armour and its helmet) that's one payment. Under Wardog level 9 the New Recruit Discount halves vendor prices - the per-life price, not these unlock fees.
Reading the ladders
- Level is on that ladder's own track. "Assault 20" is Assault class level 20; "Wardog 60" is your combined level.
- The fee is once. After it, the item costs its normal vendor price every life - the M4 is a $100,000 gate and then a rifle you re-buy each spawn.
- Levels are cheap early and slow later. Season 1's curve is unchanged below level 6, then 35,000 XP to level 10, 250,000 to 20, 1,000,000 to 50. The class guides cover the fastest way up each track.
- The cash side is the real gate. $10,065,000 is about a thousand full transport runs. The cash farming guide is the other half of this page.

Pilot - 7 unlocks to level 35, $895,000 in gates
Helicopters and air-dropped crates. The shortest ladder and, per unlock, the dearest: the Havoc at 35 is a half-million-dollar gate.
- Pilot 2 - Small Armored Crate - $10,000 (Season 1: was $5,000)
- Pilot 4 - AH-6M [Miniguns] - $50,000 (Season 1: was $25,000)

The gates worth planning for
- First rifle: AK74, Assault 3, $10,000. Cheapest real upgrade in the game and the one every new player reaches first.
- First real sniper: SKS, Recon 5, $25,000. Spot your way there; don't try to snipe with the starting Scout Rifle.
- Anti-vehicle: RPG-7, Support 5, $30,000. The one somebody in a squad needs early - nothing else in the first hours answers an armed Kodiak.
- Defibrillator, Medic 11, $50,000. Turns a 30-second revive into four or five and pays for itself in three revives.
- Tier 2 armour, Wardog 30, $87,500. The first armour tier that matters, and the reason to take every class to 5 rather than one to 30 - Wardog 30 is six fives.
- The big four rifles: M4 (Assault 20, $100,000), FAL (Assault 35, $200,000), MK22 (Recon 25, $150,000), AMR 50 (Recon 35, $200,000).
- The half-million gates: Havoc (Pilot 35), L2A6 (Driver 35) and the SPH-2 artillery (Wardog 90) are each $500,000. Nobody needs them in week one.
FAQ
Do I have to pay again after unlocking? Yes - the unlock fee is one-off, then the normal vendor price applies every time you buy the item for a life. Two payments, different sizes.
Is the class called Assault or Infantry? Both names are in use. Community databases that catalogued the vendor use Infantry; most guides, and this site, say Assault. It's the same track - the one assault rifles, pistols and frags feed.
Why is my level high enough but the item still locked? The level reveals the tile; the fee unlocks it. If it's greyed out at the right level, you haven't paid the gate.
Do these prices include the New Recruit Discount? No. That discount halves vendor (per-life) prices under Wardog 9. Unlock fees aren't discounted.
Will these change? Some already have - every row marked "Season 1" moved at launch. BULKHEAD retunes per season, so expect more. We'll keep this page current.
Want to skip the grind? GetRankd.GG offers boosting across a growing list of titles - see the Wardogs page for what's live.
