What DMZ level is
DMZ runs its own progression track in Modern Warfare 4, separate from your Soldier Rank: 70 levels earned only in DMZ, through Story Missions, Dynamic Operations, Side Ops and exfils. DMZ XP also counts toward Soldier Rank, so a DMZ climb moves both.
What it unlocks
Every level unlocks something for the Forward Operating Base: the 3D Printer at level 2, the Vendor at 5, the Gunsmith at 10, the Dog Tag Case at 20, plus Station Upgrades, recipes, Operator skins and Fire Support along the way.
Why climb it
Your Forward Operating Base is what you deploy from. The Vendor and Gunsmith are where DMZ Cash turns into gear and attachments, so until they're open every run starts with less kit behind it. Every unlock, recipe and the cash earned on the way stay on your account.
