Alpha 4.11 is no longer a September patch. CIG's Roadmap Roundup on 9 September moved it to Q4 2026, "to give our teams more time to focus on Alpha 4.10.x and 4.11 to further improve the live experience." As of 4 October it has not reached the live servers.
What 4.11 is set to bring
The headline is the Nyx system's planets, alongside the first rollout of Genesis, the new core tech behind how planets are built. The planned feature list also includes improvements to recovering items from ship loadouts and new weapons, among them the Lightning Bolt Company Skarnov assault rifle. Until a patch is live, any of that can still move.
What's live instead: Alpha 4.10.1
Alpha 4.10.1 went live on 16 September with Orison Relief Support: contracts to rebuild and defend Orison after the Nine Tails attack, from resource gathering and crafting to hauling and combat, with SecondWind weapons and armour as rewards along the way. Its patch notes mention no wipe.
Will 4.11 wipe?
No wipe has been announced. The run so far is good for anyone holding aUEC: 4.9, 4.10 and 4.10.1 all carried progress straight over, and our Alpha 4.10 recap covers what Long Term Persistence kept last time. That is never certain until a patch is live, so treat any wipe call for 4.11 as a guess until CIG publishes the patch notes.
Current aUEC prices are on our aUEC page.
Events: Pirate Week done, no CitizenCon
Pirate Week has come and gone for 2026. There is no CitizenCon this year: CIG chose to keep its teams on Squadron 42, and a smaller Squadron 42 event for selected backers stands in for the usual convention. That leaves the fortnightly Roadmap Roundup as the place 4.11's date will firm up.
