The ExileCon 2026 keynote starts at 1pm PST on Friday 6 November, which is 8am AEDT on Saturday 7 November (21:00 UTC). It streams free on Twitch and YouTube, runs about two hours, and covers both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2.

It is the last big Grinding Gear Games showcase before Path of Exile 2 leaves early access on 11 December, so it is where 1.0 should finally get its details. Checked against GGG's 25 Oct, 19 Oct and 22 Oct Steam posts and the Forbidden Rites FAQ.

When does the ExileCon keynote start?

GGG lists the keynote at 1pm PST, with a pre-show going live 30 minutes earlier. Here is the start time in the zones most of our readers use.

Where to watch, and what else is on

The keynote airs on GGG's official Twitch channel (twitch.tv/pathofexile) and its YouTube channel. The convention itself runs over 7 and 8 November New Zealand time, and the stream carries both days.

  • Pre-show: goes live at 12:30pm PST (7:30am AEDT) with community streamers ZiggyD, Mathil, RaizQT and DarthMicrotransaction.
  • Keynote: around two hours on the latest Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2 work, starting at 1pm PST.
  • Can't watch live: GGG says the keynote goes up on Twitch and YouTube shortly after it airs. Developer talks and panels follow some time after the event.
  • Twitch Drops: confirmed for the livestream. On 25 October GGG said it would reveal the rewards the following week, calling them "very cool".
  • Race finales: both games hold race finals across the two days. The Path of Exile 2 finalists are Jiluo, Giuygiuyg, Jigglypuff and Luxian.
  • Announcement pages: GGG treats ExileCon as a normal reveal livestream, so trailers and announcement pages go live as each item is announced.

On 25 October GGG said the full two-day schedule would follow "later this week". Path of Exile 1 fans should also tune in: GGG's forum says full details of the 3.30 expansion, launching 13 November PST, come at ExileCon.

What GGG has already confirmed for 1.0

Most of the big-ticket facts are locked in. ExileCon is about filling in the detail, not announcing a date. Our 1.0 release date explainer covers the announcement itself.

  • Launch date: 11 December (PST). GGG has not published a launch hour yet.
  • Price: Path of Exile 2 goes fully free to play at 1.0.
  • New class: the Duelist arrives with 1.0. GGG's Forbidden Rites FAQ confirms it is not in 0.5.5.
  • The campaign ends: game director Jonathan Rogers told PCGamesN at gamescom that 1.0 finishes the main story with "more than one act", without saying how many.
  • Interludes go: in the same interview, Rogers said the three interludes after Act 4 are being removed, with their content moved into the endgame or quests.
  • Current leagues end: Forbidden Rites and Runes of Aldur both run until the 1.0 release, per GGG's FAQ.
  • Supporter packs change: the current Early Access Supporter Packs leave the store "in a few weeks", replaced by five new packs.

What is still unknown

Everything below is unconfirmed. We are listing the questions, not predicting the answers, and will update this page after the keynote.

  • Duelist ascendancies: GGG has shown the class and its new weapon type, but has not named its ascendancy classes.
  • The final acts: how many acts 1.0 adds, what they are called and where the story lands.
  • The launch league: whether 1.0 opens with a new challenge league, and what its mechanic is.
  • Forbidden Rites characters and currency: GGG has said the league ends at 1.0, but not where those characters and their stash go afterwards.
  • Launch hour and patch notes: no time of day on 11 December, and no 1.0 patch notes yet.
  • Twitch Drop rewards: confirmed, but not yet revealed.

What to do before 6 November

A few things are worth sorting before the stream, because some of them have deadlines.

  1. Register for the 1.0 rewards at pathofexile2.com/register, then click the confirmation link in the email GGG sends. Buying early access does not count. The deadline is 11 December PST.
  2. Set an alarm for the right zone. 8am AEDT Saturday for the keynote, 7:30am if you want the pre-show.
  3. Watch for the Twitch Drops post, due in the week of 26 October. It will name the rewards, and the Drops run during the livestream itself.
  4. Decide on a current supporter pack if you want one. They leave the store in a few weeks, and GGG offers payment plans of up to three months by email.
  5. Finish what you started in Forbidden Rites. The league ends with 1.0, so open challenges and unspent currency are on a clock. Our Forbidden Rites currency farming guide covers the fastest routes.

Registered players are in line for two cosmetic effects so far. GGG's FAQ says up to five unlock if sign-ups pass all four milestones, and the codes go out by email after launch. Rewards work on Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox accounts.
