Path of Exile 2 leaves early access on 11 December 2026, almost exactly two years after the paid early access build opened in December 2024. The 1.0 release lands on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For anyone buying currency now, the date that matters is what happens to the current economy. Forbidden Rites, the event league running since 4 September, ends when 1.0 arrives. A league ending is a reset: the economy that has been running since September does not carry forward, and rates in the weeks before a reset behave differently to rates in the middle of a league.
