What ARC Raiders shields do
A shield doesn't add health. It takes a share of the damage you would have taken, losing charge and durability as it does. Heavier shields block more but slow you down.
Medium and Heavy Shields
Medium and Heavy Shields only fit some augments, so check your augment's shield compatibility in game before you order. A Light Shield fits every augment and comes free with the free loadout, so we don't sell it.
Why buy shields instead of crafting them
Crafting a Medium or Heavy Shield takes materials and an upgraded bench. Buying one saves the farming, and a spare is ready when the one you wear runs down.
