Standard is the whole game. Every map, mode and weapon is reachable from it, and it's the one most players should buy. The other three editions sell you a head start: Credits, Prime, storage, a starting arsenal, and on Deluxe two Body Sleeves and some vehicle recipes. Elite Squad is Deluxe plus two Standard keys for your squad.
The editions were renamed and re-stocked for the 15 September release, so older guides (ours included, until today) list a "Premium" edition that no longer exists. What follows is from Gaijin's own launch post and store, checked on 29 September 2026. Prices are what the Gaijin Store shows in Australian dollars; Steam prices vary by region.
The four editions
| Edition | Price (Gaijin Store) | Credits | Prime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | A$44.99 | 25,000 | 300 |
| Advanced | A$74.98 | 60,000 | 1,300 |
| Deluxe | A$150 | 185,000 | 5,500 |
| Elite Squad | A$210 | 185,000 | 5,500 |
Prime is Crystallised Active Matter under its store name, and it's granted once.
- Standard. The full game and a starter kit: SOK-94 Vepr carbines, MB590 shotguns, MP5s, M9s and combat knives, a PSO 4x scope, ten kinds of equipment including containers and beacons, and six ammunition sets.
- Advanced. Standard plus the first storage expansion and the first Replicator queue expansion, a backup brass-knuckle knife called "Bouncer", the Replicator recipe for the "Harpy" scout drone, and sniper and assault rifles in the starting arsenal.
- Deluxe. Advanced plus the Reaper and Knight Body Sleeves, three storage expansions, two Replicator queue expansions, recipes for an assault quad bike and a robot dog, and sixteen starting weapons including machine guns and sniper rifles. On Steam it's sold as a bundle with the soundtrack.
- Elite Squad. One Deluxe Edition plus two Standard Edition keys to hand out.
What the money actually buys
The line that matters most is Prime. The Shop's Special tab is the only place Prime is spent, and it sells the three safe containers, beacons, and two exchanges: Ȼ100 for ₳10,000 Credits and Ȼ500 for 5,000 Monolith Tokens. Standard's 300 Prime is a Large container and a Beacon with 50 to spare. Deluxe's 5,500 covers all three containers, three beacons and 50,000 Monolith Tokens, to the last unit.
Storage is the second. It's the first thing that runs out, and the expansions are the one Advanced perk you'll notice every session.
The sleeves are the third. Reaper is a melee-and-healing sleeve with a Large torso plate slot; every sleeve's stats are in our Body Sleeves guide. Other sleeves unlock through the Monolith, so Deluxe gets you there early rather than getting you something nobody else can have.
What survives a wipe
Edition content comes back. The FAQ answers it directly: after a self-wipe "The content will be returned to your stash, with the exception of crystallised Active Matter (Prime)." The Prime grant is paid once. Spend it on things that survive a wipe, which is everything it buys, and not on Credits you'll lose at the next timeline. Our wipe explainer has the full list.
Early-version owners
If you bought any edition on the Gaijin Store for the early version, the same edition unlocks on Steam for free and your progress comes with it. Gaijin's FAQ sets the deadline: transfer by 23 November 2026. Console players started fresh; there was no console early version.
Which one to buy
- Solo, or joining a squad that already plays: Standard. The starter guns clear Isolated raids, storage can be bought with Credits, and a head start is only a head start for the first week.
- You'll play every day and hate managing a full stash: Advanced. The storage and Replicator queue expansions are the parts you'll feel.
- A group of three buying together: Elite Squad. At A$210 it's about A$30 cheaper than a Deluxe plus two Standards, and the organiser gets the Deluxe kit.
- Deluxe on its own: only if you want Reaper and the vehicle recipes on day one and can see yourself spending 5,500 Prime well.
What no edition gives you
Skill at extracting. Every edition dies the same way to a squad that knows the map, and everything outside your safe container goes with you. The first hours are about learning routes and extraction points, and that's where a player who already knows them pays for themselves faster than any edition. That's what our Squad Carry below is: a pro in your squad on their own account, for the hours you book.
